Hi my name Johnnie and I’m 21 years old, I have been homeless since I was 16 years old. I became homeless because my family was violent and used drugs. I have been struggling since 16 to get on my feet, I felt like I had a better chance to make it on my own rather than with the people around me.

What is one important lesson learned while transitioning into adulthood?

It’s better to complete things such as education as early as possible so you don’t have to continue struggling at an older age.

What are your goals for your adulthood?

To have  financial stability and to own a house. To have enough education to qualify for a good job that I’d enjoy doing.

What is one thing you would like Seed House Project’s assistance in?

I would appreciate any financial assistance so that I’m able to save up funds to be able to get my own apartment for now.
